Newcomer looking for a village.

Started the game just the other day and up until now I have simply been exploring the wilderness and only seen 2 people, none of which spoke. While exploring I've been raising my exploration/perception/survival bit by bit to help with finding herbs while I wander. I wanted to make a small place to call my own, but I figured it best to hold off on that until I got the lay of the land, cause the novelty of being all alone in the wilderness doesn't last too long.

That being said I'd like to join a village.
-I'm no beggar so I don't expect "free itans"
-I'm more than willing to help out with tasks that advance/sustain the settlement.
-Quick to learn, plus been looking at the wikia as I play, so you won't have to hold my hand every step of the way as I rank up my stats.
-Hope for at least semi-active people.

With that said, I am a novice so I won't arrive with amazing stats. I plan to go the melee route bit by bit, but I am willing to put points where they are needed to help out with other tasks. So if you have room in your village for a newcomer I'd like to join, just need to be pointed in the right direction so I can begin my journey there.

Similary i'm a new player who found the game by chance on a Eve Online blog. My homestead's coming along slow and steady, however i'm more using it as a secure place to skill up. Once comfortable i'll look for somewhere more suitable with better resources to relocate.

I'm a mature gamer and will be active. I'd love to set up a comunity here. By the weekend I'm hoping to have recruited a few RL friends and family and will also see if anyone in my Eve corp's interested. A village should be set up ASAP!

Depending on your current location/gametime you may want to join us here in New Cockhaven.

We are all from the same forums but recently a large group of our villagers have spent less time online and the village is quite large to maintain.

We currently have 6 people who play often enough, 3 of which are dedicated. We have trading partners, are well protected, free starter gear for new players, and enough food and materials to keep us happy.

If you or anyone else who reads this post are interested in discussing a migration let us know.

You'll have to be patient to gain entrance to the village as we'd have to correlate the LS or Chieftain being on when you are. And discuss the risk/benefit of you joining.
