Me and my friends are currently at a Cold War with them because they wasted two claims and a ton of forest resources just to keep us from getting to a cave after we claimed it fair and square.

We intend to MAKE them give back our metal and troll-hunting area.

At most I maybe trust one or two Russians in this entire game with my character's life. They're conniving little sons of bitches and would sell you out in order to "help" their Motherland in a heartbeat. It's very much a Cold War attitude.
And I've met really nice Russians too...only to find out that they were trying to sell you and all of your friends to your enemies.

- i can sense some kind of childhood psychological trauma in you. You'v gotta consult with specialists about that matter, honestly =)

When you get done killing them, behead their bodies and stick them on your paliside post. Itll work as a good threat against their allies :D.

Anyone have any experience with the Russians from "Pink Pony"? It's a small settlement near me and while they've seemed decent in passing, I also tracked a bunch of theft scents back to their place and saw plenty of battery/murder around as well.

If you can't beat them, join them. It is what I did this map.

In all seriousness though, aren't we a bit past kindling drama by condemning all russians? Just blame it all on AD. They are the part of the russian community that makes them all look bad. I am living with the most hearty and peaceful, but also dedicated people you could imagine.

You make it sound as if they are the black sheep of the Russian community.

Russia has a population of 140 million people.

Your judgement of a whole nation by actions of several teens in an alpha version of sandbox online game is retarded at best.

Meh, the few russians i have met this world have ended up lying dead and naked on the ground, after themselves having thrown the first swing.

Maybe i've just had a really bad luck meeting only the bad eggs, but i can't help but suspect some evil breeding amongst them.

Assholes are assholes, nationality has nothing to do with it. A lot of the English speaking people here are equally mean-spirited jerks. I've met all kinds ingame; some American jerk in w3 once lured me to his enemy's minehole in an attempt to get me killed in the crossfire. Conversely, a Russian in a bearcape came to my little cabin the other day and dropped off a freshly-poached boar carcass, skin and all. You simply can't judge someone by the language they speak.

You should be wary of everyone you meet at first in this game. But don't let xenophobia and blatant racism colour your view of an entire population just because you happened to meet some rotten apples.

Don't you know? That's the russian equivalent of a kiss of death. :P
