had palastina walls / claimed mark (maybe the leader didnt close the gate) and i slept in my own house, and i was not outside the farm yesterday and i havnt commited any crimes ! been pure farming and skill raising. so it is someone that tresspased and killed me when i was offline, thats it ! and that IS lame..

Someone in your village probably did something bad so they retaliated by slaughtering your whole village. That's how they operate, it's meant to make villages discourage crime from within so they don't all get killed, it's a deterrent.

Anyway, lets tell people crap we arent sure about. Just dont do that, that *should* be common sense, and that shouldnt be for H&H only, just dont tell people crap if they look for help.

You've heard wrong about dying to animals while offline. Nothing can touch you while you're asleep because you're not actually there, just an animation is. You're actually standing offline right next to the bed with a status effect reducing your travel weariness. The bed can be destroyed and Nothing will happen. People can play make believe all they'd like with beds meaning shit but nothing will even spawn around you if you're not online, let alone be capable of killing you.

The Only way to be killed while offline is to be summon killed for a crime. You can lie, whine, and cry All you'd like but you died because you were committing crimes. That's the end of the story right there. Next time, don't murder others, steal, or destroy others property. You'll get no sympathy from anyone here besides the bleeding hearts who are too gullible for their own good. You'll also get no sympathy for losing lp you got from bucket grinding.

Next time, make up a story that you're a poor hermit who was farming and got sniped by someone and that you'll pay silk cloth for a ranger to kill your murderer. Works much better than threatening to quit because you were summon killed.

Still, you cant be killed while offline except for committing crimes.

You cant do that. Its already explained above.

Because you're not there. The only reason a "summon kill" can be used to kill you is because it forcibly logs your character back on while you're offline. Destroying a bed will not kill your character. If it did, I'd leave thousands of murder scents all over public bunkhouses every time we did a recruitment drive and I needed to clear out the inactives. Go ahead and try! Hell, you can even destroy yourself in your bed. Just use a bed to log out and log in at your hearthfire, you'll find yourself still sleeping in that bed. Proceed to destroy the bed or try to attack it, you'll find that this doesn't kill you or hurt you in the slightest.
