I see. I figured this would happen. I'm just taking a guess here at the fact that this event is connected to the incident that happened a couple of days ago when AD attacked and killed a malaz villager(which was me, its all over for now).
Here's a incite to shed some info on what the fudge went down and maybe why this happened
A couple of days ago(maybe wensday?), malaz was visited by AD. Our village mate xexaru was suprisingly attacked by a random raider outside malaz. Malaz back up arrived to the scene to find the perp gone. Some five minutes later, our village mate xexaru was once again attacked. This time by 6 rangers. I went to rescue the dude somewhere south of malaz since he was on foot.

Clearly, this wasn't the case. Instead of on land, he was by boat which wouldn't do much for the situation anyway. I was killed on land which to me, was one of AD'S famous mistakes. But the fact that they attacked a maybe innocent passing by doesn't solve the issue.

TL;DR
Our village mate xexaru left some scents at some AD fort. AD sent 6 dudes after the perp to kill him. Failed because they killed the wrong guy which was me and the robber got away warping back to his HF, that was actually still in malaz.
I'm guessing they went after xexaru who was offline and tracked his HF to malaz? Which is why AD was in there in the first place. So this technically was xexaru's fault. AD was just trying to kill the perpetrator who was xexaru like any other guy would do.. But I condem them for killing our friends (not just xexaru) in malaz because they just should've killed the person unless they were attacked.
