And FatStupidBob - http://www.havenandhearth.com/portal/about - Does it ever say "hardcore PvP game"?

I'm inclined to disagree, FatStupidBob. Yes there is a large player versus player aspect, but really it's more "Who can be the first to shoot the other from 50 tiles away" or "I'm going to wait until this person is off-line and summon them!!!!!111111" And the ever popular punching of fleeing, defenseless hearthlings seems to happen quite often this world.

But an actual pvp battle between two or more readily armed players?

Doesn't happen as often.

I'd wager people die more often in MapleStory, seeing how there's not any permadeath in that game that I'm aware of. :)
EDIT: Thus, people don't really give a damn whether they die or not in games like that. But I digress.

anyone who says this game is a "hardcore pvp" game has either A. never played a shooter game of any type, or B. views grinding as "hardcore". Either way, they're a carebear.

Actualy PvP is not something you want to get involved in (not counting some side fleeing) unless it's the end of the world. I had my fair shares of them myself.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

Okay, wow, what is going on here.
Noob A kills Noob B, standard hissy fit thrown.
Noob A dies, claims Noob B did it and tries to elicit some kind of sympathy or grace from this.
Noob A never actually died.
Really bad thread ensues.

This thread looks like it's being kept up in an entirely mature and orderly manner. Please continue because you're all making yourselves look outstanding and representing yourselves in a strong, intellectual light.
I hope both factions acquire enough power to have a real fight so we can enjoy the show a bit more.

Raider A goes in and razes noob A and B and real QQing ensues.
