Just wish I had gotten a claim sooner... And ranging... and rage. Then I guess I would just find him and... Give him a stern talking to.

If this is how bad it always was, I don't need to look to know. I just think it would be great if there was a 24 hour grace period where anything that was built by a person could belong to them as though on a claim. Afterwards, any sort of laziness the player incurred on themselves would be rewarded then by thievery. Yes, it would make cooperation for the first 24 hours hard, but it would give each player a fair chance to defend themselves and at least try to get yeomancy.

7,5k LP is earned in a few 20 minutes spamming baskets.

Again, there's the whole sense of urgency that shouldn't be felt. Spamming items and containers, like deforesting entire areas, may be good LP, but it's not really the way most would want to play a game of this caliber. Again, I guess my view of this game is a bit different than others, it would still just be nice to have some sort of grace to keep people from just losing hope that they can get anywhere and giving up.

A grace period sounds nice for someone who just started in the wild, but it is an annoyance in every other sense. Just deal with it, really, this game was never intended to be protective of such situations. See it this way, they're not getting LP. you are. They too will lose their stuff soon. Also, imagine if the newbies decided to isolate you in a wall of baskets, and you couldn't leave until this grace period expired?

I don't mind the stealing. It's douchey, yes, but it's part of the game. What I do mind is the trolls coming in, turning my rocks into runestones, and then writing racial slurs on them.
