Not all of us are cutthroats and thieves. Some of us just want to play a game where there is a sense of accomplishment. This is not a slam to those who play more aggressively. I'm just pointing out that some of us prefer to play differently. I have avoided interaction with most people I meet in game because I will never be someone who will have a desire to kill someone. I have played for awhile and have managed to avoid all but 4 other players. Two were nice and very helpful (Thank you), one was indifferent and one wandered into my camp like he owned it but left quickly.
All in all I consider myself lucky so far.

Yeah, some just accept the vibe I've noticed. A few have come up to me bluntly (while looking for clay), and I explained that I will not go near villages unless for basic screenshots. I mean seriously who wouldn't like some nice screenshots of an amazing village?

He seemed almost indifferent to my kindness and lack of bluntness. Rather than just shooting me down. But apparently ya'll hate russians? xD, they seem to have some nice places up there in the motherland. Thankfully though I am neither Russian nor have such descendants (IRL that is).

Same here, but i've got a large palisade going right now, and elf joined me and is aiding the progress of our settlement. I'm not looking for war with other people, so i don't think i'll be irritating anyone, but a nice wall is good to have.
