If that's how it came across than I have to maintain internet doesn't carry tone well.

Its more of me not wanting to waste time in-game defending/fighting which I don't find as enjoyable.

And why would I be scared? We already have an agreement with Odditown so unless they renege we're good. I'm just concerned for the rest of our region since while we have combat settlements, we also have a couple settlements that don't even have palisades or metal.

Well unfortunately Monkeytofu's childish tough-guy mentality is still displayed in the IRC on a near-daily basis.

I was under the same impression when W4 started until myself and a handful of others were killed off and discarded from Odditown. Although I can't help but think that it was largely due to Monkey's attitude because I know that guys like Oddity, Alg and Rawr are actually decent, good guys. I honestly wish I had some insight as to why a guy like Oddity would be willing to partake in activities like killing villagemates and demanding tributes from less established players. It's really just a shame. Obviously pvping and griefing can be quite entertaining but when it involves killing your friends or escalates to things like demanding tributes .... those activities are just not appealing to me at all.
