This thread is nothing but a puzzle piece in a larger sheme. No idea why AD felt to release especially this one to the public. Not sure either wether this palisaded hearthvault is connected to Kord at all. Looks that way, but I wouldn't have their members resort to such inferior defense measures.


inferior defense measures? :( they seem like they've got the best it gets without making multiple layers of brickwall or something.. Makes me wonder how secure my base is >_>;

Some people make it look easy but it's actually a bitch to try and break in somewhere without using any exploits. No one wants to camp a ram for 24 hours, so they palisade it.

But then you have to watch the gate so no one builds any cornerposts or strongboxes in front of that either. Don't want to watch the gate? Put a couple of newb alts inside the palisade I guess.....but then they put a claim over it so either the alts can't log back in there, or if their hearths are inside, chances are they don't have black skills.

So you put a village claim/personal claim over your palisaded ram with a CR inside and then you are good to go. Well that's one option I can think of I guess.

And then after all that effort you find out that the person whose wall you just destroyed now has a second wall further inside.

Making your place as secure as possible is good either way, but honestly most people won't bother trying to get in a brick walled place if it really isn't worth the effort. If you just have a palisade, well....There's probably a few villages out there with or close to having pali-bashers by now.

Iagree with burgi. We all know you guys try to make this board interesting,but posting threads with no back story and no screenshots is the opposite of good drama. Despite urkervals failed attempt to make a good topic which ftr, i can only guess it was for drama reasons,otherwise,AD wouldnt have released ths info. My suggetion to urkerval, more info,more screenshots. Because seriously? The fact that you post the same thing in every OP is boring makes it less interesting

Sorry for that. I prefer rghost but it keeps files only 1 month. Do you know long time hosting better than imageshack?

My fault. Barabashka and others forced me to start a new topic :D I was tired this night, so I didn't want to write anything else rather than a warning that the hearthevault is destroyed and you can check the tracks leading to it. Also, I had no time to make screenshots. So sorry…

The story begins from (actually it began from Zenica) killing our citizen who was afk in his mine. We tracked the scents. They lead to the village called something like Portigue (don't remember well the actual name). There was an brickwall hearthvault, which was broken by us next day. I had to kill a newbie-alt who was building palisade around the place. :cry: The palisade he was building saved us a lot of time because we used it to protect our rams.
We supposed it was the White Death Army - goons often make such a hearthvaults (see the screenshots by barabashka).

Um... My friend and I also took a hearthvault from a goon which was being built by ршь.

After this four of us started the siege of the village Kord Industrials and Holywood hearthvault. We were not surprised when the perpetrator was inside this village. If you want snake to be dead you have to cut its head, right? So, four of us started to build an palisade (sadly, I wasn't here).

Our enemies started spawn alts trying to stop us.

Suddenly 6 men attacked our warriors. After a short battle, they retreated. Nobody died.

By the end of the siege everything looked like a horror

In the next day we gathered 13 warriors to storm Kord Industrials.

Sooner, Hollywood heathvault fell.


By the end of this story our allies and we killed the perpetrator. His body is now in my home. I hope, he'll be a good body, so he will have a successful career in the new WELCOME.
