I think you know the answer to this, what with the alt business.

I haven't been here the entire time, but when we've needed straw for mansions, fibre for banners etc. he's always helping me harvest and build. The only relations with small villages I've had is him protecting them from some mean-spirited Germans that live nearby.

And how do you think he gets that linen easier than simply farming 5 wheat and making one?
"50 linen cloth"
Also, let's not forget that he informed me that there were other people around my area that he was extorting for linen as well.

It's really quite easy to see what is going on here. It's just a matter of whether you are going to believe it or shut your eyes to what is staring you so plainly in the face.

What reasonable, everyday, German citizen would think that thier beloved Furor was working day and night to eliminate an entire culture?

Of course I'm not saying this is such a serious thing in a 2D mmo. But, as I stated before, it really does open one's eyes to the striking similarities to past, real life history.

Nah not really.

You left scents, and he took advantage of you. If not him then it would be someone else eventually, scents or not. It's part of the game.

My eyes remain unopened.

Is there even any proof that Whiskey had asked for silk clothes for payment because I have seen this guy talk about it a lot but no screenies. Whiskey has always acted nicely to me and my villages as well.

Epic run-on sentence. XD

You can give your "loyalty" to whomever you choose. By all means, sing your village anthem, paint portraits of whiskey, shout at the top of your lungs "Hail the Furor!" It really makes no difference to me haha. You are but a villager. That's how villages work.

Me? I don't like joining any big villages. I am very much happy being with a couple of good friends doing as we wish, not having to worry about village lolatics with village heads feeding thier ego's and jacking a randy over 2D mmo's. This really is just a game, and if you feel you have to dedicate your little virtual life to someone far away with this immense sense of psuedo-authority, who could most likely hardly count their own fingers, so be it.

That last sentence is actually not a jab at WhiskeyJack specifically, just a general statement.

I understand that some enjoy the village aspect of the game. It is, after all, what makes the game unique. However, I still think most parties involved should really just take a step back and remove themselves from between their own asscheeks long enough for air and to see that in the end, this really is just a game.

As for this thread, it's over with. What is done is done. My character was killed, Whiskey climaxed, and I am off to start anew. Let it die now. No more input is needed. Happy gaming!
