That was pretty much a big part of my plan.

while it wouldn't be "doing it wrong" per se, what would happen if someone breaks into your peaceful little pot plantation and steals your stash? you just gonna let them get away with it, or are you gonna hunt them down and kill them?

It's a sandbox game, right? I could do nothing but break shit and murder people and no one could tell me I'm "doing it wrong" with any basis of fact.

Your argument is self-defeating, you could have put anything in there right up to nuke the entire map. If people want to flip out because someone stole their teacups, they have every opportunity to do so. Nobody has any rights, this is fundamentally an anarchy.

Just like, grow more, man. The herb belongs to everyone.

Everyone has the right to do whatever they please. The same is true in real life, whether you have the power to do so or not. You can grant yourself the right to break into my house and jack my shit, if you have the power to get away with it or are satisfied with the consequences. It would be within MY power and my right to call on the power of a system that is available to me to punish you for your actions, just as it would be your right to avoid that system or eliminate it, if you could.

I might leave some outside my claim for folks lookin' for a bit of high in their life with a runestone requesting people leave enough for everyone else. Also, my walls are tall and thick! HAHA! Also, my soil q is like 18, so yeah. :(

my point is that, no matter how peaceful and well intentioned you are, there are bad people roaming around that want to kill you and take your stuff, so you should be able to protect and/or avenge yourself to some degree.

That's very true. Being friends with rangers can help in the short term, but bulking up is a good idea, too.

Should "logging when you see strangers" be added to the defense thread, or is that common sense? I know my tendency to talk to strangers in game got me shot, so I learned from that. XD

Just keep moving back and forward between the 8 cardinal directions when talking to said stranger if they are holding a bow. Ask them to put away the bow or face away. It is my personal tendency during the ranger bow era.

A block of ice with the shape of a fish's fin.
According to old legends, the evil god of ice got tricked by an evil ghost and made himself frozen to the form.

Hahahaha, no. One does not merely 'invent' rights, friend. Rights are afforded either by social contract (Positive Law) or by appealing to some notion of higher good, such as God, or Morality (Natural Law). Your half-baked "Might makes right" sentiments don't hold water in the real world. This is a game, and is removed from the very real and permanent consequences of our lives that make rights a necessity, but you choosing to break into my house because you think you might be able to get away with it places you in every category of wrong conceivable.
