The thing is, if they're really the type of players you claim then all you're doing is giving them what they want. Those type of players will be continuing to act superior when they're living out of a single walled off storage shack in the next supergrid, claiming you've taken nothing of value to them and they still have a dozen giant villages. Take satisfaction in the fact that you feel you've accomplished something and stop worrying about how it effects them, because it won't effect them.
