No, the problem is that someone was selling us out to our enemy, and the (flawed) basis/justice/reason for your retarded stunt was that we were "annoying". Your entire reason is just so moronic. You say we are annoying, and instead of leaving and saying bye, and giving an adequate reason for it, you just spy on us and give our information out to others. Its ridiculous, and we certainly never did such a thing (spying) to A.D. You think you were doing some sort of justice for us trash talking A.D., but you didn't, just just transformed into very thing you hated about us, turning into a tattle-tale annoying child.

Although it is very disappointing we didn't think to search for evidence of spies, I am just so perplexed and angry towards your reason for spying in the first place. I believe it was just to spite us, and this whole reason behind it is just a bunch of sugar coating fluff.

And just so you know, we didn't even suspect a spy until Koya was a dick and sent us sassy messages with the logs you sent him in them. In fact, it took some time to actually connect the dots to you.

Oh, and, I don't know what you are talking about, but a mod can't see conversations between characters in-game, or private messages, etc. for that matter.

Not once did I think I was doing some sort of "justice" by cutting snips from the Skype log to show Koya. Nor did I think it was something ever so grand of myself to do. Again, you're taking this "spying" thing to a whooooole level beyond what it really was. Once the world wipe/reset was announced, is when I spoke with Koya. Maybe a bit before when they were figuring out what to do because of the dupe bug. Somewhere in that close area anywhom. You try to make it sound like I've been "selling you out" since I joined, which I wasn't.

As I stated previously, I didn't think you were all annoying or some horrible tragic thing. Though certainly some I definitely could have lived without. And while yes, leaving and giving a reason would have been a more easy/pleasant way out, as I stated before, I was kinda hoping to see a fight before the end of the world (a real fight, not this back and forth killing a couple here and there junk). But it never came to be sadly.

If I really wanted to "spite" you, don't you think I would've taken all the mountains of crap left around the idol/cs? Or started breaking cupboards/smelters/ovens and crap once people werent around? I did have the ability to do that in E.S. and once the claims started dropping to claim things in the newer grids, the W.S. areas. That would've been far more spiteful then a flash of outdated stats that were about to be wiped in 2 days.

I shouldn't have put ingame conversations there, that was wrong of me. Ingame conversation with Koya only happened on the last time I logged prior to the wipe happening. Perhaps I am confused on the IP situation, he tracked the posting IP from one of my posts, but how would that conclude as the "spy" being me? Unless the strange proxy (like 100% don't understand how that happened) that showed up before coming to my IP in Canada, which would match my Skype location I suppose - point it to be me?

I will explain how I figured out it was you.

Koya posts the skype chat logs he has of us in our Sodom / AD chat room.
I look at the timezones of when the things were posted (because in skype a time is displayed next to the message).
I then proceeded to go through our logs to find those messages, and make a comparison with that time and mine.
I noticed that the time in which those messages were received on your client was in Mountain Time (GMT-7) And I am in Central Standard Timezone
From there, I could eliminate almost all of our members, because I knew where they lived by looking in their skype profiles and such.

It came down to you and a few others, of whom I will not give their names. You had not put any personal information into your skype at all, like country, etc., nor could I recall any time in which you said where you had lived or whatever, because you hardly ever spoke in the skype channel.

Now, with those names, I started to look at the facts about their character, when they had joined, etc.

You were a perfect candidate. You did not talk much, you were always strangely overly-nice to me and others when you spoke, you, like you said, always seemed to put yourself last, like you were trying to be inconspicuous or something. So, now that you were pretty much my primary suspect, I asked Burgi to start looking at your IP addresses.

You lived in Canada somewhere like Saskatchewan or something, Mountain Time, check.
You were posting with really weird proxies like Namibia, super red flag, check.

It all pointed to you, with all the evidence.


On a side note, I wish you would all stop demonizing the moderator's ability to track IP addresses, there is in no way shape or form some degree of unfairness or advantage to being a mod. Burgi earned it and he has every right to use the tools (not as powerful as some would think).

You can't really prevent any type of spying or some other shit even that easily. As I said, we didn't even have a clue of a spy until Koya started giving us all the information he knew.


Oh and by the way there was a fight in the end. I was killed by el_diablo ( I think ) and there were deaths on both sides. There were 2 fights/skirmish-type-things. There was a huge one with like 20 guys from our alliance, and then 20 from theirs. You can look in the archives to see how it all played out.

I didn't appear to talk much because I spoke typically in whispers or private chats. I did speak a fair bit with several people. I was raised to be "nice" I guess, not really sure what you mean by that. Like the sir? Thanks? please? I dont know lol. Also, I thought I did have my country and what not listed in Skype. Maybe not, I didn't really turn it on much other then just before/after joining Sodom. /shrug

I always put myself last, because the idea was to always gear up combatants first, while yes, I did want to be a ranger eventually, there were people who were ready to go at the time. Why put myself above them in anyway if they can be functional right away? My stats were nothing spectucular due to starting that alt, and I knew that.

I actually did say where I live multiple times. Not in Sask mind you, but yes in MST.

I'm not sure about the proxy thing in Namibia, unless it was due to my typically posting from work, but I'm still not sure why they would have a proxy there for internet usage given where I work.

I don't mean to make it sound like his MOD status is some super huge advantage, but when posting in such vague things such as "Burg traced the IP to you", what can be said about that without the details you have just provided?

About the right to use his tools, for moderating the forum sure. But what on the forum did I do wrong to provoke him needing to trace my IP? You just said you asked him to do it to confirm your suspicion -- which would be abuse of said power would it not?. (Don't mean to offend you here Burg, just a question!)

I think abuse is the wrong word, and certainly he is not doing anything to harm you or anyone else for that matter. He didn't give any of us the IP address, just said their origins.

Regardless, I don't know why you were so awkward about accepting some gear, really, we had tons of extra armor and jewelry, several cabinets full of rings and such.

Abuse probably is the wrong word, just seemed odd the way everything was being said earlier in the thread. So I guess it was for lack of better wording.

I just like to work for anything I receive. Having extra armor/jewellery laying around is all well and good, but I feel guilty having and using things I don't feel I've done something to earn. Especially given when I had to start working double to triple shifts at work due to huge system cut overs/upgrades, I couldn't play at all. And like I said previously, the idea was to get combat chars (or ready or soon to be ready combat chars) gear and upgrades in gear first, which is why I was in no real rush, cause I knew it would be a while before I could really put them to use.

When I got the barrells and etc from Sarchi, I offered to mine the gold he needed for his plate in exchange for those, once everyone else was situated with their wood products. At least I did work for that, however minor minning some ore may seem. It was something I could do so he could spend his time elsewhere.

Giving out any information not intended to be seen by others is very very fucking low man. I don't care if it was after the world ended or when HnH shuts down for good its a fucking pitiful move.

To explain the "childishness" seen in Sodom chat, what do you expect? In a highly stressful environment like HnH you need a place to relieve that stress. Although at times I agree it got a little excessive and annoying (Darki and Jesse ) it was a very productive environment at other times.

The insulting of AD was also a measure of stress/anger removal. How would you feel to be needlessly killed by AD as I was? Or to have your friends killed for no reasons? To see decent villages fall because of thieves punished harsher than needed? Instead of just launching a full out war on AD at first we tried to believe what they said. It slowly became evident how much of lying little bitches they truly are.

Basically, don't critique what you have no knowledge of. I never saw you participate in any conversations and had no clue who the fuck you were until I heard you were the spy.

While I acknowledged that espionage is part of the higher tier meta game, it is best to be professional about it and not do any sort of justification. On our side, yeah sometimes a few Sodomites were a bit obnoxious and somewhat trollish but not tearing at each other or being arrogant. Heck we were hunting criminals when bored and not in danger and a good amount of us were generous with newbies, even Avu a few times.

Now your turn, is there any reason why you decided to turn around and decided to give information to Koya? Was it your intention from the beginning? I wonder your reason after we had tried our best to help you and Kazuma after the first King V and Rothgard drama.
