It could also be that the clay node you took from was probably already drained a bit, in which case, you taking a few bits may set its regain back a little bit. just a small bit. that would piss me right the hell off when I had some good clay, it got drained down by myself or my villagers so I leave it alone, only to come back a day later to find its lower than it was before, or not restored at all.

When I first met whiskyjack, it scared the living hell out of me. anyone wearing heavy armor does. especially when Ive been leaving scents around. the first thing he said was "hi." the second thing was something along the lines of "hows it going?' not too threatening. He mentioned the scents outside my village, and I explained where they came from. end of story, until today when I met him outside his village. I was invited in and met the people of his village. Very very nice people I thought, so i'm gonna just side with the guy who gave you a chance first, then layed down the threats. when you get pulled over, you don't haggle with the cop do you? no! you take the ticket and you pay it, or you go to collections, the difference here is, this is a game and instead of collecting what you owe if you don't pay it, people will collect your land, your property, and your life.

Just sayin.

I'm not visiting people's bases attempting to kill their villagers.

I play this game as it should be played. A chill game where confrontation isn't the means to a successful end. I talk to people, I trade, I make friends. Met some decent people on here but there are far too many people who treat it as though thier real life isn't worth living and that they must vent their frustrations, gain attention that they would not otherwise get, and fuel thier muscle-flexing powertrips.

I just think rationally. Hate it as you will.

There isn't a "right" way to play a game. People have fun in much different ways, and they will do what is most enjoyable to them, just deal with it.

There's a humorous irony to this post, you know.

You're telling someone to "just deal with" someone else's enjoyment when it clearly infringes upon their own.

Don't tell me you don't see the problem with that?

This whole thing is hilarious. I think this kinda stuff makes the game more fun. Rather than just sitting there planting carrots, making buckets, and killing piggies

I've never told him to sit down and let the guy make his life hell. I'm just saying that there is no use on crying over people who don't play the game the same way as you do.

Good clay is the single most valuable natural resource in H&H, I'd take a q100 spot over a gold mine any day of the week. It also takes ages to regenerate. So yeah, if you vandalised my spot I'd ask your village for your head, and if they refused I'd kill them all for harbouring criminals.

Like I said, clay is the single most important thing in the game.

And yet you're imposing a playing style upon him. The "deal with it" mentality is seriously logically handicapped.
