Raid on Argos

Postby Kaios » Sat Jan 15, 2011 10:33 pm

Today my village was raided by klaue, Nao, and Toska. (Toska may or may not have been directly involved but I don't care, he didn't try to stop it anyways)

I lost two good villagers, and I am shamed to say there was nothing I could do about it. This comes as a serious blow to us, we have dedicated a lot of teamwork and effort so far, and some of it was easily destroyed by a few people who took advantage of the borked LP system. Which also unfortunately was nerfed way too late.

None of my villagers had the means to defend against these people, not even me. Before it is asked, yes, the gates were open. Clearly this was a mistake to think we were safe so early on in the world. Our village had just went up, we had no way of reducing TW other than beds, and I didn't plan on giving out any keys just so they could be lost. So yeah, the gates remained open for the time being.

If there is anyone that wishes to help in any way they can, I can provide scents, and the location of their village. (Narnia)

I would just like to formally apologize to my village for this incident, as I am the only one who can be held responsible when it comes down to it.

I am sorry.

How does the broken LP system have anything to
do with it? i chased one guy alone and let him deagro
long enough to type in :lo then agroed again, that
killed him, the other guy was afk when your gates
were open.

And you really shoulda named yourselves angkor,
wouldn't have raided ya if we knew it was you.

Funny you don't know that was Angkor, when you're the one raiding it & living near it.

Whereas I know Argos was Angkor just from lurking the forums, and never having been there, been in contact with, or living near it.

What's done is done.

I am happy to hear that were we to have a different name we would have been safe, but we didn't. You attacked defenseless and obviously completely inexperienced players in terms of combat, and killed them, while also stealing several items.

Although we will recover, you have at least taught us a valuable lesson, and it disheartens me to say, gained an enemy as well. I had nothing against either you nor klaue before this happened.

I wish you the best of luck with any future raiding endeavors and only hope that we can return to better terms with each other at a later time.

I took responsibility for the whole matter. I only have my self to blame.

We have an enemy? =D

That's rather awesome, considering all of my
citizens are combat ready except for one, and
if you go after them i'll level your village.

^^

Here's to future exchanges!!

This world isn't epic enough yet, but the enemy list is getting complicated!

You know that leaving gates open was the dumbest idea ever right and you expect no raids? Funny. It's worst then giving away keys honestly.

I''m pretty sure I already explained the gate thing and took responsibility for it, please stop mentioning it. You are only reiterating what I already know.
