Is tracking this raider really worth the effort?

Hey, quick question. I ran across some raider in the middle of slaughtering a town of newbies, so I punched him in the head twice, almost killed him, and he got away on his boat.

My question is this: I've followed him for a half hour and found neither him nor his hearth, and the scents say keep going this way. Is it even worth the effort?

I guess if you don't finish the job, the job might come back and finish you when you're offline? I guess you've left a scent when you punched him?

Good luck though, hope you get him. Can't be too far, the world isn't so big this time round, check out on the mapping thread how far till the edge of the world in the direction you're heading.

is it possible you are following the arrow and not the pie slice? The pie slice is what "points" the correct direction. If it is possible read the Dowsing Rod page on the wiki it's the same radar for ranging.

Waaait, wait, wait, assault's not summonable? well, I've been following the pie slice, not the arrow, for god knows how long. I think he hearthed into some magical land of pixies and stardust.

okay, I checked the map, and it seems that he's heading northwest, and there's like a whole supergrid that way.

I think imma call this hunt off, punch him if I ever see him again.

Yep, there are scents everywhere, paradise for a ranger. Also, "Fort Escape" is my newest discovery in terms of murder scents. Apparently the people there are pretty active.

fort escape is an AD outpost, you should kill them all, swiftly

They were all offline though, guess they aren't that active. I even left some scents there.
