For Trade - Crate of Chantrelles

Postby Lupich » Tue Mar 08, 2011 12:10 pm

Complete newbie here, know this won't get many offers here but I have a crate full of Chantrelles from quality 17-21 I would like to trade for any of the following; Bar of Wrought Iron, Militia Swords, Metal Ore, an Anvil, Rings of Brodar or any Psyche boosting food that isn't rat on a stick.

Obviously I'm looking to trade with people of a similar skill level, please don't troll me for not knowing the value of anything in this game.

Legitimate tip: You will need a few more crates of chantrelles if you want to trade them for what you want. Luckily though chants are fairly sought after by big villages so as long as you can get enough, you can pretty much trade for anything.

Hello,

Not trolling you or anything (I'm kinda new to this game too - just got a bit more infos) :
-1 crate of chantrelles is very few. Apparently you'll need some more to get a good trade from your neighbours. You should get around 30-50 chants to start getting a good trade for them.
-If you're alone in the wild, you will probably not have the good quality tools required to craft good metal items. Therefore, it would be more intresting to trade your natural goods for directly crafted items/materials than for pieces that you'd have to process (like metal ores).
-PSY is a hard to come by stat, and not really that useful if you're not going to be the crafter in a major community. Otherwise, it will globally not be as useful as any other stat.
-Melee weapons need a good amount of LPs to be really useful against stronger wilderness animals. If you're new, you should either stay away from monsters - which I did, or try distance weapons.

12 Chants used to buy a bar of metal and prices haven't changed very much, for the most part. Most people also sell metal items at the same value as metal bars.
