Animal corpse decay

I just killed a bear with my Q20 sling + 23 MM but I want to put this bear corpse to a boat or cart so my friend could butcher it because he has better axe and survival than me. So would bear corpse decay if I put it in something like boat or cart ?

Yes. It will, not exactly sure how longbut maybe 2-3 hours?

It will decay no matter where you put it.

From what I remember, the decay times are 8h, 8h and 16h (8h to lose it's hide, 8 more to lose it's meat, then 16 for the bones to disappear)

It will decay over time, 8 hoursish I think...
But putting it in initially will do nothing it will just decay in the boat the same as on land.
