Troll at mine shaft lvl 2

So I made a mine hole to lvl 2, mine the first tile, place a support, mine the second tile and a troll spawns. I could run away with my miner but now I have a troll in that tiny room.

I never fought a troll, just doing my first real mining, so I have no good idea how to deal with this.

I tried to create an alt, it didn't aggro him, put cellar stones around it like I saw some people do on youtube. Then I aggro'ed it to test and it did destroy the cellar stone.

So donno what to do now. Doubt I can just ignore it with my miner.

I have a character with 70 marksmanship and one with 50 melee, but that is about it.

i guess u can have one alt near to troll ( to no despawn) and with ur archer try kill it using range, after each shoot just leave the mine, and wait the de-agro, and start again..

Troll were changed this world. If you dont have enough room to manuever then your only option is melee. If you are not skilled or high enough then dont even try. You might get lucky and find someone who will help if you split the rewards.

How does that work? It kills the alt in 2 seconds. I have to get shots off in 1 second and create tons and tons of alts?
