My happiness is going down

Its not like its a big deal or anything, but my happiness is going down and I'm not sure why, there aren't any skeletons nearby so...what's going on?
The highway currently goes nowhere.
Well, where is it supposed to go to? Irongrad? thats an hour away!

All work and no play makes Paladir a dull boy. From what I noticed it goes down from doing chores or taking damage and raises from feasting/eating and killing(animals). And so on.

But seriously, I have unhappiness 20%
Do personal beliefs have any effect on happiness?

I have a friend who once stomped on frogs and let me tell you, its not pretty! made me feel sick hearing their little bones crunch under his size 12 boot! :mrgreen:

I know happiness has no effect, I just want to know why its going down.

Happyness is a rather strange thing. At my own personal encampment, it hovers around 30%, everywhere else it's at 2%, then when I go fill the tanning vats at the commune, it rockets up to 100%... the only thing I can think is one of my friend's hearthfires is there... but real damn strange that.
