That's not really a bug. I bet his system is at fault, not the game.

This game has worked in the past flawlessly, I haven't played in a few months but for some reason it's not working this time around. I got bored and updated all of my drivers (starting with my video, which was already up to date) but to no avail.

When I try to run autohaven.jlnp, all that happens is a black cmd type screen flashes up and goes away instantly.

Next, I tried Pacho's client. I clicked the 64 bit version, extracted it, and ran the bin and all I got was this message....

C:\Users\Jerry\Desktop>java -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar sh.seatribe.se
'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
opearble program or batch file.

reinstall java machine properly. you computer just don't know what is java in general, thus this means that your java is not working properly.

I kind of figured that might be the case. I keep all of my files in my own folder in the program folders section so I can easily Copy and Paste that folder (with everything of mine) to an external hard drive should I want to wipe my comp to factory on occassion to keep it nice and running smooth.

I had a feeling doing this with java might be what was screwing with it because it wasn't in the default directory.

PS Please don't create multiple topics on same problem-it is very annoying.

Hello, "Jerry".

This is even weirder than usual, because it's usually just "java" and not "C:\Users\Name\Desktop>java" The > in there isn't even a typical command line symbol.

Your problem, at least for running pacho's client, is not that java is improperly installed, but because Windows Vista and Windows 7 are goddamn idiots when it comes to anything less mainstream than a JPEG image. Just putting "java" in the command prompt was good enough before, but I guess microsoft decided aliases are bad for your computer. You need to replace "C:\Users\Jerry\Desktop>java" with the proper location of the java.exe file.

Start with "C:/windows/syswow64/java.exe" and run a full search for java.exe if it doesn't work. Try everything.

If you have XP or lower, just put "java".
Come back two hours earlier.

This depends on what build of Vista or 7 you are using. matters only if it's lower than professional (ultimate). They don't havesuch problem.

:x I just downloaded H&H, and it says that it's blocked by my security settings. Does anyone know how to fix it? BTW, I'm trying to run it on Windows 7.
