White screen of death & No players

Postby Scarikas » Sun Oct 17, 2010 7:41 am

Hey guys, I'm really new and I have no idea what to do. I can't find any real players and The game suddenly crashed and wouldn't let me click anything, So I tried to re-open it then once I clicked 'Where do you want to start off from?' it gave me the white screen of death. So I have 2 questions

1. Where the freaking heck is everybody?
2. Why the heck am I getting a white screen of death?

Lol.

Also, what sabinati said. Or if you already updated everything, just wait until it loads. I also have to wait around the 3-4 minutes for it to load.

By the way, you probably won't see people. Or maybe if you see a active village. The world is very large.

The problem of this game is: The world is veeery, very large and few players are generally online. You are like an ant exploring the world, in exception of the amount of ants in the world xD

Well, When I pulled up my hearthling thing it said 'you are alone in the world'... Does that mean nobody is online? Or does 'Hearthling' mean a buddy or something?

That would be your kin list, methinks; and yes, that is like a buddy.

step 1 figure out what kind of video card you have
step 2 go to the website for that video card manufacturer
step 3 download drivers
step 4 install drivers

Ugh.. Now I'm really pissed...

I installed it but the only difference it made was when I clicked my character the entire thing was black and it said 'loading'. And all I saw was a question mark and the little actions bar at the bottum of my screen, When I minimized it and restored it the screen was white again.

EDIT: I just found out that I did it wrong... I need to go to 'my computers' device manager, right-click, then press Update Driver. I'm doing that right now ^^

OKAY... NOW I'M SO PISSED OFF THAT I ALMOST BROKE MY SCREEN.

I updated my freaking driver... TWICE... And I got the same freaking result. You guys better have a freaking explaination for this!!
