Killing boars/foxes.

So I recently got hold of a q60 Bronze sword, and I was thinking I'd try to kill a boar/fox soon.

I have about 20 strength and 12 constitution, how much Melee Combat skill will I need to kill one?

if you use a river bank you could probably kill a level X Boar with around 50-60 melee
that is unless you get hit by it :/

To do so comfortably, you need 40 to defeat a lvl X fox and 80 to defeat a lvl X boar. Less is possible but less leeway for errors.

I've killed a level x boar with 61 combat meele and 30 unarmed.

Okay, so let's say I have some 2000+ HP armor, a bronze sword, and a bronze helmet... Are we still talking 40's for a fox?

Assuming you have 850 or so con and decent armor. You can probably do it with 10 melee if you opportunity knock him 4 times and sting.
