If you're walking and carry a flashlight in your bag, does the flashlight do any good, turned off and inside your bag when it's dark? No, you carry it in your hand and turn it on if you need to see.

well i assumed he had it lit. i also assumed, since he said it was black absolutely that he also wasn't seeing the small radius of light around the entrance to the cave. OP please confirm or deny.

Yes I have new drivers... and windows 7-64bit

what kind of video card? there was some talk about problems with the latest drivers for some nvidia cards, which required downloading the previous version from nvidia
