how do i find spruce tree's?

Iv been looking all over, all kinds of trees everywhere but no spruce? iv got this little camp going. hopefully it will grow bigger. but right now i cant make over half the things i have the ability to because i cant find spruce tree's...

also how do i get string? i need to make a sling.

You use fir trees for the 'Spruce Cap', get a Fir Bough from a Fir Tree (green typical trees), yup.

AHH! nvm i found them had to walk very far away...

at least i have a bed now!

i still havnt found out how to make/find string though...

forgive us for not answering on string. First, there is an edit button, use it, dont double post

second, so many people have asked about string, that a lot about it is written in various newbie guides here on the forum, and in the wikia. I suggest you check in those 2 sources before asking here

sorry for not using the edit button. but i suck at using wiki's... also they should sticky the newbie tutorials =)

so , i logged in today to find that plants are covering my little campsite how do i remove them?

a boar has invaded my camp site i have no way to kill him all i have is an axe =( and it wont let me attack with it...

and my health is no longer red how do i fix my health?

log out and log in or walk a minimap away. The ground plants are decorations, cant do a thing about them. Plowing removes them

boar invaded your camp, em, one solution: RUN. even with an axe you wont be able to take on a boar for a long, long time

you regenerate health automatically, at Soft Hit Points, SHP. As long as your hunger bar isnt completely red or partly black (so orange/yellow/green)

HHP, hard hit points, dont regenerate, and if they are out you die. Most hits mostly do SHP damage. For more, and how to get back your HHP, please read the wikia
