What I lose after death?
Its half of my skills lost...

That a bad trick in game - die and lose all skills...
possible gm will change it to usual, like lose no skills, but only full loot and full exp..?

like newbie can say, game a bit calm and gameplay is pretty quite... so possible sometime players wanna action and going to hunt a bear or so... its possible that character can die.

well, i think not good to lose half (or even some part!) of skills (but full loot is ok)... even name need to change - what is that? what about social part - every time need to say to all your new name...
just make all skills saved after death and its ok...

ist possible?

also dying by bear is way more action than just killing him :D

the way permadeath works here is one of the big pros in this game. its that good, that a publisher will make a similar game (salem)

I like that this game gives me my cardio when I'm away from the gym. Nothing gets the blood pumping quite like running from a bear and praying that lag won't hit you.

when your character dies, he's dead...

you can keep part of your lp... thats the name for xp in this game, with which you can buy your skills again. The name change is kinda fun... i know one player who just added a number after the name, I, II, III, IV and is now at V, last i met.

the challenge of this game IS the permanent death, its what most of us here enjoy. Its not going to be changed

I name my character after gemstones, and I'm worried that eventually I'll run out, lol.

you could split some, and have 2 names, like "lapis" and "Lazuli"
