Merchant robes

Do people care about the Quality or merchant robes? I'm thinking about making some (eventually) to trade, but should I focus on getting my silkmoth/worm/thread/etc Q up first, or will it not matter? I realize they give Int/Cha, but it seems most people think these stats are fairly useless.

Also, what affects the Q of silk-related things? Eg do the herb tables, mulberry leaves, water, etc used all affect Q, or just some, or none?

Yes, some people care about the quality of merchant robes. Low quality merchant robes are ridiculously easy to get so it's nice to get the most out of what you wear.

Doesn't it act like traveler's sack? Where if the q is at a certain level the number of slots added are increased?

No, you get the same number of slots no matter what, quality just effects the int and cha bonus you get from wearing them.

Also, which slots does it occupy? I assume it would be 2 slots, but L or R?
