How should i react when beeing attacked.
> Let them swing at you, then switch to run speed and get distance between you and them. If you can, get in a boat, otherwise get in a house or a cave. Map transitions are a good thing as they can cause combat to drop, allowing you to return to hearth or log off.
What details do i have to watch for. Are there any cheap tricks i should be aware of, like exploiting animals? And how to counter them?
> Yes. If they have ants attacking them, you're screwed and won't be able to hurt them. If you're in a boat, don't let them get close to you and attack your boat. Never let them attack you while you're moving. The best counters are being smart and mobile. Put obstacles between your enemies and yourself. Ants move at crawl speed so they can't kite them very far very fast.
What actions should i take and which should i avoid.
> Run. If you're great at combat, run to a location that is beneficial to You, not them. If you're useless at combat, run away and break combat.
Are there any cheap tricks i should be aware of? And how to counter them?
> What? You asked that already.
How do i survive if beeing attacked far away from a boat.
> Bees~! Run indoors and hide.
Is it possible to reliably shoot moving targets.
> Yes. Wear leather armor to prevent slings from killing you. Wear metal armor to stop bows. Wear full steel gear to stop ranger bows. To be honest, not many people (Read: No one) has a ranger's bow capable of increasing its aim while you're moving right now.
What combat behavior can i expect from a pvp?
> Idiots who don't know what the fuck they're doing, mostly. They'll attempt to engage you and use stupid tactics that they use to fight animals. Often, they'll just rapid attack with punch. Seriously, people suck balls at combat.
