Tan leather?

I have a tanning tub, I have it filled with water and a tree bark. I have a dried rabbit fur, I put it in the tub. Used the 92% trick, and went away for 4~5 hours, it's still 92%... What's going on? Was tanning time increased? Or maybe the % is broken?

I think 92% was when the bug bugged. Dunno, when I bug them I get 94% and it is working.

*sigh* Ya, just before the server went down, I checked it again. In the time between the first post here and this post, the % went up 2.. maybe it was just waiting for me to look at it again? idk

I restarted one (took it out and put it back) it also jumped a couple percentage in a very short time..

*shrugs*

EDIT: WTF? After the restart, my 2% one jumped to 92%, and my other one went down to 92% from 94%! I thought maybe we got a roll-back, but my bed that I literally just made is still here..

I think when you use the port to hearth fire fire when lifting the tanning tub, or simply lifting the tanning tub when the fur is in it it bugs out that way (i'm not sure if just lifting bugs it too), just take it out from the tub and back in it will reset the timer but it will work.

They always reset to 92% when server shuts down. It's an ancient bug.

Oh ok, never noticed before. Maybe the server was reset recently before I came back online and tanning was reset again? That would explain why it hasn't moved at all.

Tubs will glitch inside caves and cellar unless a hearthling is standing there watching them the whole time.

Bah.. that's lame. Of course I set it up in a cave, I'm not going to spend my precious LP expanding a claim just to fit more crap.. bah I say! BAH! :x

I had a cave in W4 and all my tanning tubs were always in the cave and i never had any problem or bug using them. I think the explaintion Potjeh gave explain it better in fact. I had few leathers but since the game crash all the time now i always have the leather reset at 92%.
