Should I refrain on FEP gain?

Postby pokiehl » Wed Mar 23, 2011 3:04 am

Well, since int and dex are so easy to start raising, I've gained a lot of levels on them, now I'm afraid of keep raising those stats while some others are still on level 10.

Should I refrain on leveling those? Will it be easier later to gain FEP on the other stats and eventually even them?

Advice please.

Raise int you need it to study more curios. Don't worry about the other stats, if you forage/farm you should have a wide variety of food to reduce the fep bar.

Get as much int as you possibly can. Dex never hurts. It's based on your highest stat and you don't need every single stat anyway. Decide what you'll need so that you can begin aiming towards those goals too. If you plan on being a farmer, you probably don't need a terribly huge amount of Str, Agi, Psy, Cha, or Con. Your per, dex, and int will want to be high though. A miner will want tons of str, int, and con. Fighters need Int, Agi, Con more than anything else -- str isn't bad either.

Yea, but it worries me that by the time I have the resources to raise per, my highest stat will be too high and I will suffer to raise it...

Some of the Perception foods later will get you caught up pretty quick. I think I had my Str and Con up to nearly 30 before I started getting any real points in Perc because I couldn't find carrots and nobody near me had them, either (or I couldn't catch them on to trade for a couple seeds). I ended up raising it with boiled eggs--fast.

You won't hurt yourself until you get your stats closer to the triple digits, really. Raising FEPs gets easier and easier the more developed you become. And then you get cheese and all bets are off.

Ok guys, thanks a lot, guess I won't refrain for now. Besides, the extra int will always be helpful.

May be an easy answered question but what is the easiest thing to get up int?
