UAC vs Deer

can someone give me the run down on how to kill a dear with UAC? I'm still fairly new to UAC but I've read the sticky, didn't help much.

I can. Ive killed a lvl 10 deer with as little as 35 UA.

heres how it works, lure the deer to your palisade and lock it IN the gate, not inside your wall but in the gate itself. hit it with rocks or arrows until its ready to run. now get up close and and get about... well a large amount of IP, you've gotta have at least warrior spirit for fighting skills. use flex to get your attack back fast, and us your IP to use knock his teeth out. if you do it fast enough you can kill it in about 20 minutes. this method takes alot of prep though...

I can kill a deer just fine via multiple means.

I'm curious how to fight one toe to toe without using a boat or anything. Thanks for the help though.

Well, if your unarmed isn't at least 100 (And I say 100 but you can do it with much less if you know what you're doing) as most deer are level IX or X then don't bother unless you make it flee first using a sling or bow.

If you make it flee, what I like to do is wait for it to come back and then just block it in a corner spot at a river using your character, and then gain 12 ip, flex, and punch until the defense bar is lowered. Then flex again for full attack bar, knock his teeth out, flex, knock his teeth out. Should be dead after you hit it twice with that fast enough.

If you want to take it head on where it's actually fighting back, well the same technique could work, but make sure you use dash to gain your ip, and while your flexing switch to oak stance if your defense bar gets too low. Combat Meditation also helps if you have a bit of advantage to spare to speed up the flexing.

Is there a way to kill a deer with 76 UAC in a honest fight? I guess it's possible.
Yesterday I've been trying nearly 20 times, but as soon as I had 6ip for flex, I couldn't sustain myself against attacks of the deer any more. In order to gain 6 ip I used dash (with "charge" situation seemed to be worse) standing in dodge, oak stance and bloodlust to refill attack.
Other my stats are: str 38, agi 10 (because of the clothes).
Another question: how come I knocked teeth of a deer without defence for 123 damage? According to one formula from http://havenandhearth.wikia.com/wiki/Combat_Actions, the damage must be 76, according to another http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Combat_Actions - 103. I'm confused.

Yes, I know that. But according to ringofbrodgar I'm able to deal only 103 damage, and I've done 123. Moreover, when you hover the cursor over "knock his teeth out", it says the damage is 2 fists(image of fist), i.e. it confirms the info from the first wiki.
My h&h pal told me he was able to fight a deer with 70 uac.

You can, it's just hard and if you don't know what you're doing you're going to die. Your timing and execution have to be flawless and considering that animals will kill you if you screw up why not just play it safe and buy some more UAC or whittle them down at range first? Is playing smart really that hard to do?

use a sword

seriously you can either do what kaios did or you can get a decent sword or even a good q stone axe and get 100-120 ua and like 40 melee. if you have decent strength you can charge/DoG to 6 inits and then punch-flex the defense bar down. once the deer has no defense, flex once or twice and then sting/chop. if your str and weapon q are high enough you'll one shot a deer this way - and you can stand right in the middle of a herd and just pick one out and not have to worry about the healing at all

TeckXKnight, I know it's hard. And I want to learn it.
I've been playing h&h since world 5 and I know what's what. My aim isn't to get deer meat or bones, I want to become a good PvE fighter. It pleases me more. Btw, I killed that second deer at last, using a little bit of cheat(op. knocks), but IT IS BORING.

No offense, but it looks looks like arrogance and ignorance of the details of the subject (it's partly my fault, I could prevent misunderstanding by explaining the whole situation and my goals at first) AFAIK deer kick knocked character only once(and that kicking is quite rare), dealing like 120dmg, which means even low q helmets like my druid's helm 45q and easy to make leather armors allow to survive such attack. My character has 25 cons (189hp total) and said 45q helm with armor class 63/21. Correct me if I'm wrong.
So I would really appreciate if you talked about the essence of my questions and topic.
