help taming moocows

i've fenced off a large herd (about 10) moocow thingys in the north east super grid and was wondering if someone could help tame 1 or 2 of them?

read the taming guide and do it yourself, it's not hard and doesn't require much investment

Taming is a pain in the ass no one is going to do it for free.
My advice: Do what Sabinati said.

is it possible to use quell the beast at range?
maybe i could shoot at it with my sling and then tame it when i get the required points?

No you can't.
You need IP not just intensity and sling gives no IP it may give intensity but not sure.
