I'm planning on moving from my current location. Partially because this was just a temp spot, and partially because of the 3 huge villages that sprang up in a triangle surrounding me. I want to leave asap, I even have all the materials for 2 pali cornerposts for the new spot. The trouble is, I cant find a single river system that isn't occupied by at least one large village.
I would like to get away from people as much as possible so i don't have to watch my back so much while I hunt, constantly worry about getting raided, etc. It seems however, based on scouting and checking the map, that people are everywhere, and even popping up on places unseen by the map. Every river system has a large village or a city, or at least just a village claim somewhere on it that is presumably using it.
My Question Is How do i figure out if a village somewhere is hostile, or peaceful? Short of just boating out front of their wall and shaking my ass to see if they try to kill me. (seems kinda risky)
If there is a river system with just one village and they end up being peaceful farming or trading types, then i can set up shop. But it's not like i can just go ask them if they prefer chocolate or children's tears.
