Armor Pen and UA

Just a question about armor degrading against UA attacks.

Hypothetical situation:

Armor 100/100
UA Attack 110 dmg

How does this hit the armor? I know 30% penetrates the armor. Does that mean the UA attack actually works like this:

Armor 100/100
UA attack 73 dmg to armor, 37 to hp

or is it

Armor 100/100
Ua attack 110 to armor (10 absorbed via soak) THEN 37 dmg to hp

hmm....interesting,but i think that no damages will go to HP O_- you should atack more than 200dmg,but this is my solution

oh, if only 70% goes on armor i think there's any chances to hit HP

I believe 30% goes through, and the rest is affected by armor, so the first scenario.

To make up for the fact that Unarmed attacks can't do the massive amounts of damage a sword/axe can do, 30% of the damage always bypasses armor.

i calculated that 33 dmg goes to HP
and 77 goes to armor and is neutralized by 100/100 so armor will not lose hp

Woops, late for me lol. I swapped the numbers XD

But yeah ok, seems people generally agree that the bypass never touches the armor in any way. Was just curious as I had a bronze plate that had been somewhat degraded somehow. Only use I knew of was from UA, but maybe it was from an animal hit or something.

The only animal who should be able to do enough damage to hurt bronze would be a bear, unless it's very low q.

Q25ish and yes, I'm pretty sure a bear might have hit the guy who was wearing it.

No, very low q as in q10. q25 will block a boars attack with no damage. Hell, I only have q30.
