Harvesting Hemp for Buds

I searched and checked the wiki, but couldn't find the answer. Now long after planting does hemp hit the bud stage? I always seem to miss it. As a note, I have beehives of course.

I'd say about a full day after planting? You have only a few hours before they become fully matured after that.

thats how long, in real time it takes from becoming red harvestable bud to being regular hemp.

So you have 24 rl hours to bud stage and a 40 minute window to harvest?

I haven't tested this out yet, just remember that you get no seeds or plant fibers from this stage, so make sure you leave some to harvest normally for the next generation.

Huh. I didn't think to look at the bud page. Shows what I know.

So if I harvest and replant before going to work, I have a good chance of getting the buds when I get home the next day. So if you plant at 8am they should be ready around 5pm the following day.

Yeah I had looked for that info on the wiki at one point and couldn't find it, but then stumbled across it later on when looking for other stuff. A lot of the time when you're looking for something on the wiki you can find it by going through other pages related to that topic.

A lot of the wiki organization seems odd to me, but I can't really think of a way to improve it without having every page be needlessly bloated.

Currently there isn't much in the way of organization as a whole. It's random bits of information thrown onto pages where they seem useful. Unfortunately this leads to not all the important info being on the right pages. An example many people don't see is that the "How to" for treeplanting is only found under treeplanter's pot page.

It's an imperfect work in progress. Such is life.

if you don't have beehives, they will be budding around 48 hours from planting. the 30-something schedule with beehive always made it impossible for me to get them.
