"Idol Jumping"

Postby Sitting_Bill » Mon Jun 06, 2011 11:57 pm

Hi,

I've seen people talking about this in trade threads - how does it work for trading? Do I somehow invite the person I want to trade with to my village and then they can jump all the way to my idol?

Unfortunately the only way I can see to invite someone is to click on them when I can see them to make them swear allegiance... which does not help for someone all the way across the world...

Thanks for your help,

You can swear in via party icons if you're on the same world layer (usually surface). And people without hearth can port to idol any distance, just like porting to hf.

Successful derail:

I personally don't mind the quoting, it just pisses me off that people who do it on every post don't just put it in their signature. Furthermore, it's a bitch to quote, fuck that noise.

Sure. Didn't realise it bothered anyone... Now that it has been raised, I'll stop it. I guess I have more to learn about forum etiquette ;)

isnt it slightly risky to allow random people to swear allegiance to your village so they can access everywhere?

Use a satellite village.

We have a courtyard. Most they could do is...steal the slag from our forge?
