Entrance for settlement

Postby Dolby3d » Mon Oct 31, 2011 12:57 pm

So im planning on building a palisade wall with my friends but the problem is that only one of us will get the key. And we cant mine yet because we dont have a mine hole nor do we even have enough perception x exploration to find rustroot. My main idea was to build a sign that goes out the settlement and if you want to get back you simply teleport to your hearthfire thats inside. But i found out you can only do that on a village claim.

Does anyone have any any idea? Also i dont want to keep the gates open it will let filthy outsiders in..

He just might ;)

On topic, only way to get pass a Closed Gate is by crossroad (U need a village for it) if not make a Key Alt for the ppl to use on a shared account (if u trust them).

Other way is to build separate gate for every member. It will take some extra mats for extra cornerposts.

Yup, but building a ram will be cheaper than building all those extra posts, plus there won't be all that drying time.

It's seriously easy to get a village up and going. The hardest part is hunting the deer (since they like to heal themselves).

painhertz is the least of anyone's worries. Ainran and the RUA are probably bigger nightmares as they'll grind up palibashers faster than anyone would really care for or even make rams and close them with a pali so nobody else can come in to break the ram. As a note: all it takes is three palibashers and a ram to break a brick wall, too. All the while, you'll never be able to touch them because they're hiding in a hearth vault.

Don't forget about us. I have 3 different groups starting pali-bashers.

Although my sources inform me that ainran will most likely get theirs done first.
