What softcapps the leather, and what hardcapps it?

The quality of leather seems to be determined by the following equation: qLeather = (3*qHide + qBark + qWater + qTub)/6.

The quality of a Hide is affected by survival and the sharp tool quality (ie.: stone axe).
Specifically, the base hide quality is first softcapped by the sharp tool quality and then softcapped by your survival skill.

Well thanks, but I always get 10 quality sticks and stones, so I cant make a better Q axe. Any helpful comments on that? I always try searching the wiki but lately it laggs a lot to me.

Grow higher quality trees for higher quality branches. Chip stone on mountains to try to find higher quality stone nodes.

OK, thanks guys. I had a treeplanters pot that I planted a mulberry in, but I did it a week and a half ago and nothing happened. It just stays in my herbalist table.

It's dead then. Empty the pot out, refill it with dirt, water, and seeds, then after it finishes being nurtured on the bench plant the tree. If you do not, it will die. If you do, it can still die/be stunted too but at least it will have a chance.

It's not dead. It doesn't say i's dead, and they usually say that it is, right?

I haven't worked on trees since w4 so I'm a bit rusty on information with it but I'm pretty sure they die 8 or so hours after being on the herbalist table.

I planted them before, and they usually say they are dead.
EDIT: When I pick it up, it says Treeplanter's pot (unsprouted)
