the level difference isn't very big, I'm melee/unarmed. so whats the best way to take on a marksman?

Wear heavy, high quality plate and just ignore them. Then, when you get the chance, call thunder on them until you get enough IP to walk over and pretty much one-shot them.

q150? Lol.
Some of the best quality last world were about q120~ or so, I really don't think you could go that much higher than that.

Also remember agility decreases minimum ranged damage against the shooters perception, so if your agility is low then it might not be such a good idea to kit yourself out in full hq steel and think you're pro, and then take a full damage shot to the face.
IMO MM isn't that good for pvp, the only kills I ever got with MM last world were cheap afk kills and newblets with my wooden bow, It's never really saved me in a situation.

Indeed i was wrong. Althou not in a part that you pointed out because bone does affect your tree Q along with the other components i listed. I did misscalculate table's influence so yea, 120 rbow is the realistic high end one.

How does bones limit your tree quality? Did you miss the random range on tree quality there? The point of better saws is to increase your tree quality faster than a point a week. Also, best bone is q300.
