I'm a cook. How do I be a better cook.

Yeah this is probably a dumb question for what is probably a very simple job.

I'm the resident farmer/cook at my village. I know how to rotate the crops around and increase their quality. I've made wine, tea, baked goods, made sausages blah blah I have a decent understanding of how to do everything. But to those of you who have filled the role of a cook/farmer before.

How do I be better/more efficent at it? what are the best/staple foods you make for your village? things that you can never have enough of? I know it probably all depends on the roles your villagers take though.

I've looked at the FEP table thing on the wiki but there is so much food. I try to pick the highest FEP foods to make but I'm unsure if there are some other foods I wouldn't think about which are worth making.

Any tips or anything? I keep everyone from starving, but think I could be making/doing something else to help out with.

:)

Well, blueberries pies, you can't get enough of them.
You should ask your village mates what FEPs do they need, sausages are good too, mostly for STR... and.. ofc.. cheese, you can't forget the cheese.

Most appreciated, I forgot about delicious blueberries. I'll go forage a bunch of em.

Anymore advice is gladly accepted.

Cheese is important. You should also raise your survival if you will be doing the butchering of game.

Pumpkin pies are easy enough to make :)

Cheese production is starting to get under way. Need a couple more good dairy cows however :?

Thanks!

What kind of attributes does a cook need? And what skill values?
And what skills?(For example, cheesemaking, winemaking)

Perception - for unbaking goods (softcap by sqrt(Perception*Cooking))
Cooking - no comments.
Survival - for buthering and roast meat.

Skills - all or only what you want to make.

Sorry I'm kinda dumb.

What do you mean by unbaking goods?

Food that isn't made in an oven?

No matter who set unbaked goods to oven.
