How do you guys hit the animal when it twitches?

I was hunting from my noob char that had 11 marksmanship and a q18 sling and I managed to kill two boars, but the thing I have to ask is, how do you guys react fast eonugh to hit the boar when it twitches? I always hit it right after it is finished twitching because my nerves are too slow.

just shoot it, when it runs deagro and aim and shoot again...simple! atleast thats the way I did it when I was a noob(twitch hunting has never worked for me)

12mm, The bar goes down whenever the boar or I move.
Does anybody know a technique or something where I have a chance of hitting the boar when it twitches?

get in a boat, aim and shoot(ignore bar)
->boar runs over to the shore
->you boat over 1-2 tiles away from it(closer you are faster bar rises)
->aim and fire when you're in the yellow
->aim and shoot
->repeat til boar runs
->click the crossed sword/olive branch
->follow boar aim and shoot
->deagro if it runs/get back in boat if it attacks
->aim shoot
->repeat til boar is dead

I made a noob char a few days ago and killed a couple of boars with a q7 sling and 4mm, so forget twitching and just kill it!

I just caught a bear with 12mm and a q18 sling with minimal help from my friend who quarried some stone for me!

Still need to figure out how to twitch hunt though...
