Generally: (some stuff might might not be needed, check RoB wiki.)
Low Q character(with full nature) for seedling creation and planting.
Low Q items (TreePlantersPot, Soil, water, seed, HerbTable) for seedling creation.
Get new low seeds from newly planted tree's at the first stage that gives seeds.
Thinks that's about it.

Note: with a 0q saw, you always get 0q boards (I think).

is it possible to get a q0 saw? lowest bone I could see would be q5 from starving a chicken and even with a q0 branch that gives a q2 saw(with a survival softcap)...but yea with the formula if you get a q0 saw no way to get a board higher than 0

also you forgot no farming on that character and q10 clay with no dex character for the pot and low q fuel when burning the pot(also in q10 kiln)

I bet Apoc knows all this stuff better :P

Grow low q chickens by using low q food(seeds, crops) to get low q bone. (min is q1 for chickens if I remember correct)

I tamed 3 cows and starved them to death. Gave me a good bunch of Q0 bones. I can give you one if you want one.

For the Q0 tree its a bit more complex.

I used a 3000 pers*exp explorer with 1 survival and collected Q5 grayclay. Did the same thing with feldspar Q5 felds. Then I killed of a bunch of aoraches and got Q5 bones. Burned it all down with the Q0 boards and got Q4 boneash. After that I turned felds + boneass + anyQ caveclay into Q4 boneclay.

44 x Q5 grayclay + 1 x Q4 boneclay = Q4 kiln.

With the Q4 kiln I made 4 x Q3 pots.

I also used Q1 fibers along with Q0 boards and Q1 blocks to make a Q0 herb table.

Q10 soil + Q10 water + Q0 herb table + Q3 pot

Using all this I regularly get low Q trees but even then it happens that most of the trees are above Q1.

Of course I plant all this with a full nature lvl 1 farmer.

There is no point in making any item in the game unless its fun to do it.

I'm trying to make a nice Q0 collection. I suspect your trying to do the same Dill
