If I steal from people/villages

Will someone come to hurt me? I just started playing about a week ago from a 1 and 1/2 year hiatus.

I've just got theft seeing as there aren't many players and I figure I can find some decent loot from god forsaken claims.

With current amount of people still playing this game, change of getting tracked from small crimes is absolutely minimal, at least from my point of view. Dunno what others in this forum think about this, but unless you leave murder scents you should be very much alright.

i would accept the risk that there will be players still who will track and kill u for those crimes.

Yeah, it is still possible, but chance of getting tracked have never been so small since I started playing actively.

I still track - i know some areas where (not well developed) ppl steal and even vandalize without difference if active or inactive - i track and watch with patience - i might come to the conclusion that someone is not interested in taking care to check for activity at places they loot then i will act ... i know others do too (not for epensing but to keep a bit of balance)

Btw. there are enough places unclaimed where you can grab usefull stuff also it's still possible to leave a runestone and ask for some help/ stuff at active places...if i find one at one of my places i'd sure drop a crate or two to grab

This is true, most of the abandoned villages around where I am have been de-claimed and I always have stuff outside of my village for passing players and I still get runes asking for seeds and such, which I will always leave.
It's really not worth the risk of leaving scents even with low player base, as Em said, there are ppl who will track just for the excitement of killing you.

I left a runestone outside of a mans home before I stole all his carrots. He had a palisade with bricks and what not but the door was open so I figured he was being nice and didn't mind.

Other than that, most places I can't tell if the owner still plays or not. I need a battering ram.

I wish I could play, but nearly every character gets stuck here or there and is kinda broken then. I actually have 4. 2 of them still can play, but their house is not acessable anymore with all the stuff in they gathered the last 2 weeks.

All that work, gone by single bug.

What do you mean the house isn't accessible? Could you explain this "bug"?
