HnH Freeze Help ._.

Postby oONekoGamiOo » Thu May 09, 2013 5:10 am

I usually play on my School Computer, but since it's nearing Summer, we are taking all these online tests at school, forcing me to go on my home computer to play. I remember playing on here before, but it somehow won't work now.

My Computer is a Toshiba Windows 7 Ultimate, with a 64 Bit Operating System.
And my Ram is 4GB, with 3.8 Usable (if that is helpful in anyway.)

I download 64 bit Ender, and tried 32 bit before this.

But when i go on my characters, what happens varies. An old old character i had works fine, he lives in the wilderness with not much to load.
When i go on my Main Alt, it lags once i'm on the game. I've waited, and it didn't help.
I can't even log in my Main's Account. It lags as soon as it shows the character screen. (I have ton of alts on this account)

I also tried playing the game from the site itself. It gave me this error report.

Code: Select all

Toshiba -> Notebook

Ender problems with Mainchar - move all belts_name.conf files out of Ender folder (make another folder to move there) - try again

Another point might be the graphicchip - have a look which one it is, what drv version and report pls

Default client (web - autohaven) : did you try more than once?

I just checked and everything needed gets downloaded fine...
(you can check via Java Control Panel -> General -> Temporary Internetfiles -> View -> Ressources)

Java 8 - manually downloads - good to check for actual versions url here:

MainChar - The Ender folder i used to open the game doesn't have any belts.
Graphic card - Intel i3 HD.
DefaultClient - I did try more than once.

k

Graphic card - check at Intel if their drivers work for your Notebook: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect
If it tells you to look for appropriate drivers at manufacturer look at Toshiba - use the correct modelnumber!

(the Intel graphic chips aren't the fastest and are known not to have implemented OpenGL features very well - too bad i had a Tosh 350L with Intel for repair here a few days ago but didn't try HnH)

Default client
Java Control Panel -> Security Tab - > check "activate Java Content in Browser" / Securityslider should be at high
-> Extended Tab -> go to headline 8 "Secure Run Environment" or something like that (sorry german language system - don't have the english term at hand)
-> uncheck 1st + 4th , check all others
Now clear Tempory Internetfiles (General Tab -> Temporary Internetfiles -> Settings -> Delete Files)

You should get a certificate warning in the process of downloading / starting default client - look at the certificate details and save(import) it

Make sure your AV or Firewall isn't blocking
report back pls

It won't even let me check my "System for latest updates"
As for the Default client instructions, although it was confusing at the start, I think i knew what you meant, but it didn't work in the end. I got the same results as last time.
I Just checked my Firewall, it already has HnH as a program to pass through firewall. I don't think that's the problem.

*Sorry for the late return, i've been having a bad couple of few days, with my testing, and my brother leaving our house and all. Sorry again.

hmm there seems to be something ...

I suggest installing Java new:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28086
here you find the latest in all flavours - for you http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... 80261.html
Code: Select all
 Windows x64   31.59 MB     jre-7u21-windows-x64.exe
should work

install and run test again pls

if it works try Default client

if default client works try with 64 Bit Ender + update

x86 stands for 32 Bit

(you can have both (32 and 64 Bit) installed they are in different pathes then...)
