Food Attribute

Postby puppetlance » Mon Dec 09, 2013 3:18 am

Hey guys!
I was just wondering if there was anyway to lower the food attribute status. Such as if i was to eat 3 Bear meat that added 10+ Str to the attribute slider that requires 30Points it thus raises to say 35. Or so.
How can I lower this? Is there anyway or is it stuck that way? Im curious because right now Im powerleveling str to 150 with bear meat and such and its at 100+ now with my slider at around 45.
So i was wondering in the future if im trying to level a lower tier skill such as say agility which is only like 16 would it decrease in the slider.

Im not entirely sure which aspect your trying to address but here are some tips.

High quality tables, chairs, and table items can allow you to eat more without filling up so fast as well as adjust food stats to a degree. You can also mix lower quality food item with higher ones so as not to waste FEP's so much.

I hope these help.

The amount of FEP's you need is always based on your highest attribute. If you get 150 strength and then try to level your very low agility, you're going to be wasting a lot of food compared to leveling the two of them simultaneously and equally.
Of another era.

Exists the variety bonus, by mixing different foods the bar gets shorter.
Ofc you need to collect the foods that give the same type of FEPs to avoid gaining whatever you dont want.

If you only go to 150, you're not quite as hosed as pushing to something like 500. If you have a good sausage grinder and mats, you can easily pump out q60-90 Delicious Dear Dogs that will be 25-30 AGI FEPs each. With some smart variety eating (such as q1 veggies from the garden) and a few of the easy AGI foods (like rabbit and honey buns), you can reliably get your AGI up without much issue. Don't forget your black pepper and smoking some hemp buds, too.

This game really needs an AGI cheese, even if it is only a bit better than the DDD.

The point is having a pure AGI one - CC is still CHA also - STR is too easy too often compared to other ...

Nah. Too much CHA on it for my tastes. I know it'll make good AGI if you combine foods and at higher qualities, but still has too much of a chance on other FEPs by the time you combine things. (Best I've gotten is 70% chance for AGI once I had to start using food combos for AGI.) Although extra CHA isn't bad when you're hermiting and trying to maintain a village claim solo, it's still annoying.

@borka: just reduce the CHA by half would be good in my opinion
