How do I know when W8 is coming?

Seems like a lot of people have apocalyptic feelings these days.
Might be the salem reset.

The bulk of the world resets have been caused by system ending crashes. World 3 was lost because character data became corrupted, World 5 was map data corruption, and world 6 was also bad stuff happening. The telling signs of World 7 coming to an end will be people posting huge dead zones of the map that have been wiped by harddrive failure.

Otherwise? No one knows but likely not anytime soon. Not until Hafen most likely.

I would expect Haven 2.0 Alpha to run concurrently with haven World 7 but that's just a guess on my part. Why abandon a fully functioning game and game world when all that will be avaialable for a while is an Alpha, and those of us that were in Salem Alpha know how VERY little there is to do, at all.

AFAIK jorb stated that there will be a wipe for haven2 only and also that there won't be haven and haven2 running at the same time (just imagine maintaining Salem, Haven and Haven2 at the same time ...)
