How do I trade when I am not part of a village

Postby 503ace » Tue Mar 04, 2014 6:23 am

The communities around me appear to be dead, and I need metal to advance further. The caves near by have been claimed and I dont have the skill to make a mine hole just yet. I figured the best bet to get metal for the time being is to trade, but the thread on trading says I need to be part of a village. I am not looking to start a village or join on just yet, so that options thrown out the window. So if anyone could tell me how to get in touch with traders that could join up with me, I can trade bear very easily since I find them everywhere. Thanks :D

If you don't have a village idol you are at the mercy of whoever is around you.

You don't need to 'be' in a village as such, you just need to have a village idol.
You'll need http://havenandhearth.wikia.com/wiki/Lawspeaking, plus the ability to hunt deer and bear, lastly, you'll need 30,000 LP to form the village.
Make sure you can log on exactly 24 hours after it's built, as it takes that long to become active, at which point whoever finds it first can become lawspeaker.

Ok, and does Constantinople still exist? The last time I played that place was a hub for trading.

The world is a much crueller place than it used to be.
