First of all Haven is an internet only game. You can download a computer based client to skip the web based one. They are listed here. I would suggest Ender to start.

As for Mods most are graphical changes. They are listed in the above forum area as well. If you have questions or problems on how to install a client or graphic Mod please ask in the thread of that program or Mod. Your more likely to get quicker answers for specific things that way. But if you feel more comfortable asking here it is alright as well. It just may take more time.
