Destroing...

I've found a nice place which was abandoned, placed my totem and started new life. However old settlers left some hearth fires. They are right in the middle of my farm fields. I tried 2 destroy them with demolish button. Tried it about 10 times lost all my stamina, however they seems invincible. So do i just have 2 keep trying or do i have 2 use any tools for it, and how long can i demolish them if they are destruct-able, 10 minutes, hours, days? Or may be i just have 2 wait and they would gone themselves.
Moreover, i cant find a way 2 destroy the results of lay stone action. A lot of stone roads on my lands which i would like 2 plow, but i cant plow those stone roads. How can i remove them?

The destroy action is based on your Str. The higher it is, the faster things will be destroyed. Having a pickax helps immensely, and having it equipped helps more.

To 'destroy' paved stones you must plant grass on it. Thats all, no voodoo or anything like that. Just have a seed in your inventory, and plant grass. The seed will be used up in the process.

TY =) My strength is 10. And i have only stone hammer. How long would it take? Days? =) As for wikia - always trying 2 use it but have some problems with info it's no so full as it should be. =) Moreover i am from Russia and have some language difficulties. A lot of new and strange words in this game =). Thnx again.

I don't know, personally I have never actually succeeded in destroying a hearth fire. I think an ax will help, but I am unsure.

Try and find a way to get a Bear Cape. They will boost your strength, even if its a low quality one, it should make it a little easier. A Pickaxe will help. The best way to destroy one on low strength is to ask someone who could do it for you else you are stuck drinking water/tea and devouring half the worlds stock of food to get rid of one...
Just stick too it or just plow around it. At least your not trying to build a Cabin there...

Booze raises your strength for a short while, and boar snuff raises it even more but it only lasts one or two swings.

i suggest to ignore them for now and raise your strength a bit. 10 is really weak, it would take very long. but i guess with 20 strength or so, this might be more reasonable...
and, you could also change your belif to barbarism, which increases your strength by (i think) 5% per point - 30% in total.
on the other hand, as youre new, i assume, it might be better to switch to civilisation first, as youll get a lot more lp...

You do not get more LP by switching towards Civilization ... it will increase your Int/Cha, and decrease Str/Con. None of those stats effects LP gain.
LP can be gained at a higher rate by increasing the Peaceful-slider, or by moving towards Change (the Change/Trad slider is automatically moved towards Change for every other move of the sliders.)
