The server is currently down. That may be the reason why you can't run it.

It looks like your security setting is too high.. I usually get a pop-up, asking if I want to run a program withan unknown certificate. It looks like your setting doesn't even ask, but denies immediatly.

I don't know where to fix that.. Try your config screen. Think it is Java-related, not sure.

EDIT: Waitwait.. The pop-up I am referring to would have popped up before you got the Java application launcher.

So that's probably not it...

Make sure to have the latest version of Java installed, that could be it.

If that doesn't work, I notice that the security alert is for something OpenGL-related. If upgrading Java does not work, try updating your video card drivers. There are some issues with older drivers and OpenGL

Here's a similar thread with a solution. See if it works.

Interesting and weird that JOGL, of all things, would fail. What does it say if you click the Details button?

The time of the post the server was down. Trust me. I tried a few ties before checking it. It crashed. :(

That seems to happen from time to time, almost as if it were random. Try clearing your Java cache; it usually works.

So, I seem to be getting the same error, albeit only on my Netbook. I've installed the latest Java, done away with any firewalls or conflicting security settings, my clock is set right, and I have the newest video card drivers as well as having cleared my cache a dozen times over, but nothing seems to work. I can post my exact error codes, if necessary. I'm much too lazy to check bit by bit to see if they're the same as Dice's, but the error itself is the same.

I tried clearing the cache and it still didn't work. I checked with java.com and it says I'm running the correct version of java and everything.
